The stereotypical image of a yoga teacher portrays someone with unwavering faith and a knack for inspiring others. But we have more doubts than certainties in life. We don’t claim to have much wisdom to share beyond our questions. While mainstream yogis emphasize inner peace, we find value in our restlessness. Yogis offer practical insights and wisdom, but we primarily embody skepticism.

Our closest encounter with a religious or mystical experience was munching cancha in Peru and sharing laughs over our Kafkaesque dad and absent-minded mom while sipping pisco. Raised in a family of disillusioned Marxists, we were never taught devotion, unconditional respect, or obedience.
